What are the contents of intermediate frequency furnace refractories?

Intermediate frequency electric furnace

Intermediate frequency furnace refractory materials are mainly dry refractory vibrating materials, cement, coils and other products. The dry-type refractory vibrating material is a mixture composed of refractory granules (greater than 0.1mm) and powder (less than 0.1mm) with a certain particle size distribution, a small amount of low-temperature binder and sintering aid, and is in a dry state (without adding Liquid blending liquid) is directly used to build industrial furnace linings. During construction, the dry mixture is filled in the mold tire (type). Vibration by vibrator or ramming is used to achieve tight filling, and then the mold tire is heated by heating, and the surface layer of the lining body is consolidated or sintered by heat conduction to form a working layer with a certain thickness before it can be put into use.
Compared with other unshaped refractory materials, the use of dry vibrating materials to construct industrial furnace lining has the following characteristics:
1. The construction is simple and labor-saving;
2. It can be baked quickly without bursting, which can improve the operation rate of the furnace;
3. There will be no cracks through the lining due to the sintering of the working layer. The unsintered backing can eliminate thermal stress and prevent the expansion and extension of cracks in the working layer, with “self-healing” characteristics;
4. The thermal conductivity of the entire lining is low, and the heat energy can be used more effectively;
5. Since the back lining of the working layer is not sintered, or the sintering degree is relatively light and the strength is low, it is easy to remove the residual lining after use.
Like other unshaped refractory materials, there are many materials and varieties of intermediate frequency electric furnace dry vibrating materials, including silicon, aluminum silicate, corundum, mullite, magnesium, and magnesium aluminum.
1. Silica dry vibrating ramming material is a mixture made of quartz sand and fused quartz as the main raw materials, adding a small amount of sintering agent. The prepared siliceous dry vibrating material can be selected or used in combination according to requirements. However, generally, silica is crushed and crushed to obtain quartz sand as the raw material for vibrating materials. That is the acidic material we often say;
2. Use alumina as the aggregate, alumina or alumina composite as the fine powder lining material; that is, what we often call neutral materials;
3. Use magnesia as aggregate, magnesia or magnesia composite material as fine powder lining material, which is what we often call alkaline material.
4. Composite furnace lining material with spinel as aggregate and fine powder added with compound fine powder.
