Ceramic Fiber Blanket

Ceramic fiber blanket is also called aluminum silicate fiber blanket, also known as aluminum silicate double-sided needle-punched blanket. It adopts high-purity ceramic fiber cotton raw material, which is melted at 2300 ℃, spun, and needle-punched, with continuous nodding and flat fiber blanket. It has high tensile strength and can be directly exposed to flames, high temperature and high heat.
1.Good insulation performance
2.Excellent sound absorption effect
3.Excellent flame retardant performance

Product Description

The ceramic fiber blanket does not contain any organic binder to ensure that the ceramic fiber blanket has good formability and stability under high temperature and low temperature conditions. It is white in color, regular in size, and integrates fire resistance, heat insulation and heat preservation. It can still maintain good tensile strength, toughness and fiber structure after long-term use in neutral and oxidizing atmospheres. The temperature resistance is 950-1400°C.

Application

Lime kiln

Ceramic fiber blankets are lightweight and easy to handle and install in kiln linings. Their flexibility allows adaptation to the shape of the kiln, including curved or irregular surfaces. When properly installed, it results in a seamless lining with minimal gaps or seams, reducing the risk of heat loss through the kiln walls.

Pipe insulation

The flexible nature of ceramic fiber blankets makes them easy to handle and install around pipelines, even when dealing with complex shapes or bends. They can be easily cut and molded to fit the specific requirements of the pipeline.

glass furnace2

During the glass kiln operation, the roof can experience rapid temperature changes, especially during the opening and closing of the kiln door. Ceramic fiber blankets are designed to withstand thermal shock, ensuring they can handle these temperature fluctuations without cracking or breaking.

Q1: How high temperature can the ceramic fiber blanket withstand?

A1:The high temperature resistance of them varies with different grades, but generally can withstand temperatures as high as 1260°C (2300°F) to 1430°C (2600°F). Please make sure to select the appropriate temperature class according to your specific requirements.

Q2:Are they safe for humans?

A2:It is a harmless insulation material, but proper safety measures should be taken when handling and installing to prevent the fibers from getting into the air. It is recommended to wear appropriate protective equipment such as masks and gloves to avoid inhalation of fibers.

Q3:What are the advantages of ceramic fiber blankets?

A3:It has the advantages of light weight, excellent heat insulation performance, high temperature resistance and chemical corrosion resistance. They are also flexible and able to adapt to complex shapes and surfaces.

Q4:Is the ceramic fiber blanket easy to install?

A4:Yes, ceramic fiber blankets are relatively easy to install due to their light weight and flexibility. They can be cut and shaped to conform to irregular surfaces or special shapes to provide effective insulation.

Q5:How long is the service life of the ceramic fiber blanket?

A5: The service life of them depends on its use and maintenance in the working environment. Under normal conditions of temperature and pressure, and with proper maintenance, they can usually provide reliable insulation for many uses.
