Silica Brick
Silica bricks are prepared from raw materials such as silica, sulfur, and iron powder through mixing, pressing, and firing. They have good thermal stability and corrosion resistance, and their refractory temperature can reach 1300°C. It has the following
1. High fire resistance and heat resistance
2. Good heat absorption performance
3. Small volume density
4. Low coefficient of thermal expansion
Slica Brick Description
Silica brick is a refractory material processed from silica and other fluxes. It has good fire resistance, corrosion resistance and heat resistance. Its melting point is as high as 1730°C, and its refractory rating can reach 1300°C. Good stability has high application value in current industrial production.
Silica bricks are mainly used for the protection of heat exchange surfaces in kilns and furnaces, and can also be used in smelting, smelting, gas heaters, hot blast stoves, smelting furnaces, metallurgical furnaces and other industrial equipment, as well as in sintering furnaces and kilns inside the furnace.
The Application Of Silica Brick
Silica brick is one of the most commonly used refractory bricks in glass kilns. It is very resistant to high temperature and can withstand high temperatures above 1300°C. It has good heat resistance and can withstand long-term high temperature environments. In the glass kiln, it is often used to line the hearth, furnace lining, furnace door and furnace wall.
Due to its good refractory properties, silica bricks are often used as the inner wall material of coke ovens to reduce the wear and corrosion of the inner walls of coke ovens. It also has good low-temperature performance, which can reduce thermal uniformity in the coke oven and maintain stable thermal and operational performance.
Silica bricks are one of the most popular refractory materials used in tunnel kilns for heating and baking ceramic products. These bricks are highly resistant to extreme temperatures, making them ideal for tunnel kilns. They also have excellent thermal shock resistance, so they are better able to withstand sudden temperature changes.
