Magnesia carbon brick is a new high-performance refractory material, which is composed of high-purity magnesium silicate, carbon powder and organic binder. It has good thermal stability, high refractory temperature; good surface accuracy and wear resistance; low thermal conductivity, good thermal inertia; strong chemical resistance, high hardness; good corrosion resistance, not easy to rust; can melt by itself, It has homogeneous voids and is suitable for use in kilns.
The Application Of Magnesia Alumina Spinel Brick
Magnesia carbon bricks are used on the lining of BOF converters. The sintering temperature can be as low as 1300°C. The heat resistance is higher than that of ordinary bricks. It has the advantages of good heat resistance, corrosion resistance and wear resistance.
Magnesia carbon bricks have extremely high heat resistance. Because of its excellent heat consumption, it can effectively reduce the temperature of the electric arc furnace, which not only improves the heating efficiency but also reduces the heat loss.
In the application of ladles, magnesia carbon bricks can reduce the sintering temperature of the lining mud, prolong the service life of the lining mud, have strong wear resistance and good thermal shock resistance, and effectively protect the surface of the ladle
