01. Frontier Overview
If the anchor bricks used on the top of the furnace or the furnace wall are partially broken, or are still partially pulled, it is mostly because of cracks. If the anchor bricks are replaced, the front wall or wall must be removed. It is the stove top. Even after it is replaced, it must be baked as required, and there is no guarantee that bricks will not fall out again.
02. Make emergency repairs
In an emergency, there are still ways to make emergency repairs. The anchor bricks are heavy and have grooves. You can apply high-temperature cement to the section, and then squeeze hard to return the section to its original position, so that the cracked part will break and the anchor brick will not continue to fall down. The high-temperature clay is applied to the section of the broken brick, and after being extruded back to its original position, it must be heated to a certain temperature for better results. However, high-temperature cement will produce a strong bonding force, and there are still certain methods for operation.
03.Add a layer of 5 mm high-temperature cement
Before the high-temperature cement-bonded anchor brick breaks, it is necessary to use a wire brush or a paint brush to clean off the coke, charcoal ash and debris on the broken brick, then apply cement, and finally apply 35-40% diluted Phosphoric acid solution can keep the brick surface clean so that the bond can be firmly bonded.
Apply high-temperature cement to the cross section of the broken brick, or the contact point between the two bricks, squeeze the anchor brick to its original position, and fix it with temporary supports. In order to prevent the cracked bricks from falling down during the repair process, a 5 mm high-temperature cement layer was added to the entire anchor bricks from the fire surface to the upper bricks to make the anchor bricks a solid whole.
04. Need to be baked
After the high-temperature clay is applied to the fracture surface, it needs to be baked. The temperature should be around 150°C and the baking time should be about 12 hours. If it is a small area, 6 hours of baking is enough. If it is a local repair, you can use a blowtorch or gas welding. Baking method, after the baking work is completed, it can be put into operation. The repair of bonded anchor bricks is a timely repair under special circumstances such as collapse and fall of the kiln. When the damage is not serious, local damage repair method can be used, which can repair it quickly and effectively, and can effectively reduce greater losses.
05.Conclusion
In fact, during construction, in order to prevent cracking and falling bricks, the joint materials can be built with high-temperature cement or phosphate mud, which not only has a fast bonding time, but also has high bonding strength. Moreover, the high-temperature performance is stable, the shrinkage is small, and the entire construction body is also intact.
