PA80 glue is a connecting material used between bricks under high temperature. In a general sense, it can also be classified as high-temperature refractory mud. There is a big gap between PA80 glue and ordinary refractory mud in terms of quality and price.
02.The biggest difference is the temperature area
The biggest difference between the two is the difference in temperature and regional application. Generally, ordinary refractory mud or phosphate refractory mud can be used during the construction of static industrial kiln lining, while PA80 glue is recommended for dynamic kiln lining, mainly due to the mechanical pressure under dynamic conditions. The kiln has high stress, which prevents bricks from falling off during rotation.
03.There are many kinds of ordinary refractory clay
There are also many kinds of ordinary refractory mud, which are also matched with the same material joint refractory mud according to the quality of the refractory bricks used. The refractory mud is divided into different series of clay, high alumina, silicon carbide, siliceous and magnesia. They are all raw materials for the joints of refractory bricks made of different materials.
04. Through specific binders and powders
PA80 glue is made of specific binders and powders. The powders are significantly different from ordinary refractory mud. Ordinary mud is generally made of 160-180 mesh powder and clay. PA80 glue is made from powder, adding ultra-fine powder, and adding a unique variety of binders. The brewed glue is stored in a separate bucket, and it is effective when used at high temperatures.
05. The adhesion of refractory mud is crucial
The adhesion of refractory clay is crucial. Poor adhesion will affect the adhesion of the refractory brick joints and reduce the service life of the refractory bricks. Ordinary refractory clay and PA80 glue must have dynamic fluidity and plasticity. It has no fluidity and adhesion. During the construction process, the joints between bricks will be loose, and bricks will fall off at low temperatures in China.
PA80 glue has better thermal expansion or shrinkage than ordinary refractory mud, and will not cause the middle of the refractory bricks to detach or cause the mud layer to break. The effects of integrity, rigor and integration are obvious. Ordinary refractory clay has good adhesion when used in low-temperature areas in China, and has good strength at medium and low temperatures, while PA80 glue will decrease as the temperature rises, and the integrated strength of the brick body will become higher as the temperature rises.
PA80 glue and refractory mud are also selected as the most suitable connectivity raw materials based on the temperature and position of the static and dynamic kiln lining, and the different materials of the refractory bricks.
